Anatra “Ansal” – the Russian reconnaissance plane

“Ansalj” is a reconnaissance aircraft, built at an aviation plant, based on Arturo Anatra. “Ansalj” (Anatra - DS) is almost a complete replica of the plant's previous “Anade” aircraft (excluding the engine). The length of the upper wing varied from 11.42 to 12.37 meters in different specimens, and the length of the aircraft from 7.95 to 8.1 meters. It first took to the air on July 25, 1916, but series production began only in 1917. In total, about 70 aircraft of this type were used, which were used by the air forces of tsarist Russia, Soviet Russia, the White Guard and Ukraine in 1917-1920.

A simple, well-designed and detailed model, suitable for almost every modeler, but for a novice modeler, we recommend it assemble under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and it should not be one of the first more complex models.
