The Bf-109 prototype was ready for flight in May 1935. In the same year the Technical Office of the Ministry of Aviation of the Third Reich chose the Heinkel machine as the winner out of 4 fighters, submitted to the competition (Arado Ar-80, Messerschmitt Bf-109, FW - 159 and He-112). But, before long, they agreed to order a test batch of 10 Bf-109 fighters. Several of these aircraft participated in the Spanish Civil War. The fighter showed its good and bad sides and was improved. The B, C, D, E and F versions produced before the war were better and better, the G, Y, K and T versions were designed and produced during the war. A total of 30,500 fighters of all versions of this brand were produced. The most popular was the G version, which produced 23,500 units. In addition to the Luftwaffe, fighter pilots from Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Japan, Yugoslavia, Spain, Russia (the Russian Liberation Army under the command of General Vlasov), Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy and the USSR flew these fighters.

A large, moderately complex model for modelers of all experience. For advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, we recommend gluing the model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and doing it without the cabin interior and with the chassis included. The model represents the 1943 year plane of the German ace Major Herman Graf - commander of 50 Jagdgruppe - who shot down 212 enemy planes.
