TS-11 "Iskra" is the first training aircraft of Polish design with a jet engine. The aircraft was built by a team of constructors, led by Tadeusz Soltyk. The first prototype took off for the first flight in 1960. “Iskra” prototype no. 3. broke 4 world records for aircraft in its category. Serial production started in 1962, the last production series appeared in 1987. Production ceased after 421 units were produced. The aircraft was used for pilot training in Polish and Indian AF. "Iskra" is a monoplane with a wing, placed in the middle of fuselage, all-metal construction. The armament consisted of a 23 mm caliber cannon, blocks of unguided rocket projectiles or bombs weighing up to 100 kg could be hung on two winged pylons. It was also possible to hang a container with a 7.62 mm caliber machine gun and ammunition for it.
The model is carefully designed and well detailed, making it suitable for modelers of all experience levels. The model is designed in such a way, that it can be glued even by a modeler with little experience, working without any external help. Easier and more complex versions can be made. The model recreates the TS-11R “Iskra” “Novax”, serial number 3H-1919, which was used by the 7th Naval Special Aviation Regiment. At the end of 1992 the plane was painted with an experimental marine camouflage, consisting of granate upper and gray lower surfaces. In addition, eagle eyes were painted on the front, which were supposed to scare the birds, flying around the airfields.
