The Fairey “Battle” bomber was designed by the “British aviation workshop Fairey Aviation”. The first flight of the airplane prototype was made in March 1936. After some reworking the plane was serially produced until September 1940. A total of 2,201 aircraft were produced and another 18 were built under license in Belgium. Before the war, 15 bomber divisions were armed with “Battle” bombers. When the war began, 10 divisions participated in the defense of France, but there it became clear, that the aircraft no longer met the requirements of modern combat. Therefore, despite the heroism and dedication of the pilots, who flew the “Battle”, the losses of the divisions, armed with these planes, grew at a crazy pace. After the capitulation of France the remaining aircraft returned to Britain and were used only in night operations during the Battle of Britain. In the later stage of the war “Battle” already served only as training aircraft. Two Polish divisions - 300 and 301 - also flew on these planes in the British RAF.

The 301 division plane is recreated by this not very complicated, but excellent graphically and structurally designed model. It is intended for modelers of any experience, so a version without a cabin interior is provided, with closed chassis niches, which, under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, will be perfectly glued even by a beginner modeler or a modeler with little experience.
