The Supermarine “Spitfire” is one of the most famous fighters of World War II. These planes fought from the first to the last days of the war in the AF of several dozen countries of the world. More than 20 thousand copies of all versions of this plane were produced. “Spitfire Mk. VIII entered service in April 1943 and they were to reduce the German FW 190 fighter’s lead. “Spitfire” HF Mk. VIII - highland Mk. VIII version with enlarged wingspan and characteristic wingtips.

The aircraft of Senior Lieutenant Stanislaw Skalski (18 victories) of the RAF 601 Division, which he commanded in the battles in Sicily and Italy from July to October 1943, is recreated by this not very complex, but excellent graphically and structurally designed model. It is intended for modelers of any experience, so a version without a cabin interior is provided, with closed chassis niches, which, under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, will be perfectly glued even by a beginner modeler and modeler with little experience.
