The Dewoitine D-520C1 was the latest aircraft of this kind in France during the German invasion of 1940. The prototype took off for the first flight on October 1, 1938, and production began in March 1939. 2320 aircraft were ordered, but only 755 units were produced, including those, made after the French capitulation, and production continued until 1945. These fighters remained in the service until 1953.
The model is designed with novice modelers in mind. It can also be made with an opaque cab cover - no cab equipment required - and a chassis in flight position. This makes it available even to modelers with very little modeling experience. And the experienced themselves can think of a lot to make the model as realistic as possible.
