The “La-7” was the result of the development of the “La-5”. Compared to its predecessor, it had many changes: a new design wing, a new cockpit, an adjustable oil radiator air intake channel. Serial production began in the spring of 1944 and by the end of the war as many as 5,753 units were produced. "La - 7" remained in service until the mid-fifties, participated in the Korean War.
A simple, well-designed model for modelers of all experience, beginners and less experienced modelers are recommended to model with intake chassis and no cockpit interior. And You should work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The model depicts the fighter of Hero of the USSR Lieutenant Colonel S.F. Dolgushin, who commanded the 156th Naval Aviation Regiment and shot down 17 enemy planes.
