Martin K. III "Kitten" was constructed in 1918 by the American James W. Martin. This fighter was a recycled version of the British Grain Kitten and was designed to destroy high-altitude airplanes and was designed to launch from launchers, mounted on the main artillery towers of ships. The plane was armed with two machine guns with a stockpile of 1,000 rounds. Martin used a lot of innovations in his project: ailerons at the ends of the wing, K-shaped inter-wing springs, specific spring wheels, and a retractable chassis for the first time.
A simple model for modelers of any experience, just for beginners would be better off working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and it shouldn’t be one of the first models you make.
