The J-1 "Przasniczka" was built in 1967 by engineer Jaroslaw Janowsky in 4 years, with the help of two friends, in a small 18 m2 Lodz built an apartment house in the living room. The airplane was aerodynamically perfect, it was built by the designer himself in the 23rd h. p. power motor, rotating 1.06 m propeller. The plane first flight took on July 30, 1970, and was flown by pilot Jerzy Orlowski. The plane flew for a long time, until it was badly broken in an accident in 1981. Transferred to the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow after the accident, where it was repaired in 2008, but kept in funds, is not exhibited.
Uncomplicated, beautiful, richly detailed model, perfect for any modeler. For a beginner, it will be better to have a more experienced colleague around, who can help in a difficult time.
