A medium-complexity model, that recreates a Soviet-era fire fighting mobile hydrant station, which used to pump large amounts of water into the fire area and then transfer it to mobile fire hydrants or special fire extinguishing machines, from which water was hosed to the fire site. Such pumping stations were widely used throughout the territory of the USSR, including the Lituanian SSR. It is self-evident, that after winning independence, these machines did not immediately disappear from the fire stations, but continued to be successfully used. However, disruptions in the supply of parts and aging inventory, which was updated with Western equipment, gradually pushed KamAZ fire engines out of fire stations.
A large, fairly complex in scope of detail, but easy to build model for modellers of any experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. It's just not suitable for complete beginners yet, not because of their lack of ability, but because this model is a "long-term" project, and beginners need "quick" models. The chassis is quite well restored, there is a cabin interior, good exterior detailing. The model recreates the Lituanian version of the car - under the sign on the door, You can write the name of the fire station and the car number, based on historical photos of these cars.
