The “Ka-29” (“product 502”, NATO codename “Helix-B”) is a Soviet ship-based transport-combat helicopter, developed from the previous model, the “Ka-27”. N.I. Kamov's TKB was built in the early 1980s and was intended for the landing of marines from ships and their fire support, transportation of various cargoes, rescue at sea, etc. This helicopter was built in accordance with the rearmament program of the USSR marine units, including modern means of delivering troops. When creating the machine, the combat experience of the marines of the possible opponent was considered, conclusions were drawn from the Vietnam and Korean wars. For the first time, the prototype, marked with the number "208" and called "Ka-252NB", took to the air on July 28, 1976. The factory tests of the two manufactured prototypes continued for two years. The machine began to be delivered to the formation units in 1985, serial production was suspended in 1991, and the helicopter is still officially produced.
A well-designed and richly detailed model of a helicopter, which does not leave the opportunity to assemble it for modelers with little experience due to its rather complex shapes and construction. Detailed interior of the cabin and transport compartment, all machine components and parts have been restored very carefully, detailed hanging armament, tricolor camouflage. Color reserve is already the norm in modern paper models. There is an instruction in Russian.
