The first winged autogiro (helicopter) A-7 took to the air for the first time in 1934. In 1937 his state tests were successfully completed. In 1940 on the initiative of Kamov, the first aviation factory for the production of autogiros of the USSR was established in the base of the buildings of the "Podosinki" airfield in the area of the Uchtoma station. A military variant of the A-7 helicopters, designated the A7-3a, was also produced for reconnaissance and artillery fire correction. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, a squad, formed from these machines, operated as part of the 24th Army in the vicinity of the city Jelnia. The helicopter crew consisted of a pilot and a gunner. The machine was armed with 3 7.62 mm caliber machine guns, bombs and rocket shells RS-82.

The model is perfectly detailed, the production of the engine layout is planned, the cockpit is finely detailed, and don't forget the RS-82 rocket shells and bombs hung under the fuselage. Ailerons and control plates are separated from the main plates. The transport version of the model (with compressed blades and padded fenders) is not provided. Camouflage monochrome, standard USSR AF - dark green from above, blue from below. The print quality is excellent, all the glue tabs are painted in the same color, as the main parts. In short, the model is only for intermediate and experienced modelers.
