In 1950, the USSR Council of Ministers issued an order to produce a test series of 15 GM-1 helicopters, later called the Mi-1. The helicopters are manufactured at the Moscow plant no. 3. The following year, these machines were shown for the first time during a parade at Tushin Airport. But mass production of the helicopter was delayed until the second half of 1951, when the United States reported the successful use of screw combat machines in the Korean War. During production, the Mi-1 has been constantly improved.
A well-designed and well-detailed model of a helicopter, the graphic instruction of which should become an example for publishers in general.
