PZL "Kania" - a multi-purpose light helicopter of Polish design - the result of the improvement of the "Mi-2" helicopter. The main difference is the use of more powerful American-made "Alison 250" engines. 19 units were produced. Used in the Polish police for patrol and transport tasks, 2 units used. PZL "Kania" was used in this service in 1996 - 2014. After the end of service, both helicopters will be transferred to museums: one - to the Krakow Aviation Museum, the other - to the Museum of Rescue Services in Tomaszowice.
PZL "Mi-2" is a light multi-purpose helicopter, designed by the M. Mill Design Bureau of the USSR, but produced only in the Polish Republic. More than 5,400 units of 25 versions of the machine were produced. Used in the Polish police for patrolling and transport tasks. Used in 2001 - 2020.
The PZL "Kania" model reproduces the appearance of the Krakow (formerly Poznań) traffic police car. This helicopter is equipped with a FLIR telecamera, an additional reflector, megaphones and a landing from flight equipment. "Mi-2" restores the helicopter, used by the Szczecin traffic police. Both models are of medium complexity without interior detailing, intended for modelers of any experience, only modelers with little experience should work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and take their time.
