Professor Alexander Lippish was one of the most famous and best experts in the flight characteristics of airless planes and delta-type planes. The first works have been known since 1930. In 1943, the III Reich Ministry of Aviation allowed Lippish to establish his own company in Vienna. This is where the project, later called P. 13a. it was supposed to be a fighter, and it was built in 1944. Tests in the aerodynamic tunnel confirmed, the hopes placed in the design - the machine had to survive even at a speed of 2.6 Ma, which is still impressive. In November 1944, the initial design work for this glider-free glider was completed. It is planned to lift this glider into the air by mounting it on the top of Siebel Si-204 or Heikel He-111 aircraft. But nothing came out of those plans, and the near-finished glider went to the Americans, when the factory was occupied.
Although it looks like a simple model, it is not. This results in torso shapes that are not simple. But, if you have a more experienced colleague, beginners – this is your model. But not as the first or fifth. And the experienced can “squeeze” a lot out of it.
