The glider "Ježyk" (“Grunau Baby” IIB) was built in 1932 for the company "Schneider" by the famous German glider pilot Wolf Hirth. This company had its office in the town of Grunau (now Sudeţi Jerzow) at the foot of the Karkonosza mountain, where there are excellent conditions for gliding. The glider quickly became popular among gliders and, in various modifications, was produced all over the world. More than 5,000 units were produced. Used everywhere from Germany to Brazil, Australia, Sweden, Middle and Far East regions, all over Europe. Several modified units of this glider were also built in Lithuania. After the war, it was manufactured for some time in Poland in Jerzow from parts, found in the former premises of the “Schneider” company.
Two simple models of gliders of different scales, which can be glued together without major problems even by modelers, who have tasted a little paper modeling, without any help from "more experienced colleagues".
