The “Ohka” K-1 - training glider was almost indistinguishable in design from the “Ohka” Model 11 for kamikazes. A special sleek cover was attached to the rear instead of the dismantled rocket engines. A landing gear is installed under the waist. These gliders were lifted into the air on a special drop-off chassis by “Betty” bombers.
An uncomplicated model for modelers of any experience, just starting out would be better off working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
