Solaris "Urbino 12" is a low-floor city bus of the Solaris "Urbino" series, manufactured since 1999 by the Polish company "Solaris Bus & Coach" in Bolechów-Osiedle near Poznań. In 2014 the IV generation model was introduced. Versions with gas equipment, hybrid models or purely electric buses and trolleybuses, based on Solaris "Trollino 12" are produced. A suburban low-floor version “Urbino” 12 LE is also offered. From 1999 to 2002 I-generation buses were produced, and from 2002 the II generation began to be produced, but it did not differ significantly from the I-generation buses, either technically or stylistically. The III generation model was introduced in 2004, which was replaced by IV generation buses in 2014. II Generation Solaris "Urbino 12" II took the 2nd place in the competition for the title of "2005 Bus of the Year". It was the first time a Polish-made bus competed for this title. Generation IV “Solaris Urbino electric” was the first ever electric bus to win the “Bus of the Year 2017” prize.

An easy-to-assemble model for beginners and less experienced modelers, depicting a bus used by the Poznań company MPK. Model without internal equipment. This type of bus is also used by Kaunas and Vilnius bus fleets, so it can be easily repainted in Lithuanian colors.
