The USSR closely monitored the development of armored vehicles abroad. The British light tanks “Carden-Loyd” did not slip through their eyes either. As early as 1932, the USSR bought 8 “Vickers-Carden-Loyd Amphibian” tanks and, researching them, produced its own series of T-33 tanks. In the early 1932s, two more versions of its own tanks were produced, the T-37 and the T-41. Although the design had a number of drawbacks, the Red Army ordered an improved version of the T-37A, which was obtained by combining the good features of the two prototypes. These tanks were also used in the initial stages of the Great Patriotic War, but not very successfully. Many of them were taken over by the Germans - as shown by the model, offered to you, which depicts a trophy tank with German crosses, used in 1943.
A simple and labor-intensive model, that is suitable for a "tanker" with little experience, but not as one of the first models. As with all tank models, the chassis and tracks will “eat up” the most work.
