During World War II the German Army had in its arsenal self-propelled armored artillery devices, that were qualified as self-propelled guns or tank destroyers. The best machine for this purpose was the Sd. Kfz. 173 “Jagdpanther”. The first "Hunting Panthers" arrived at the front in 1944. Fast and well armored units Sd. Kfz. 173 was a highly effective weapon, armed with the famous 8.8 cm PaK43/L71 gun. The late appearance of these devices at the front and their small amount almost did not affect the course and outcome of the war.
A very complex model of the armored self-propelled tank destroyer with full combat and engine compartment equipment, perfectly detailed undercarriage and exterior detailing, is a separate sheet with fairing details, "coated" with Zimmerit coating. The model is only for intermediate and experienced modelers, because even though we won't be doing the engine and combat compartment, the details will still be many and complex. Therefore, modelers with little experience should not attempt to make this model at all.
