Panzerkampfwagen E-100 - a prototype of a German super-heavy tank, built in the final phase of World War II. The machine was designed within the framework of the "Entwicklungsserie" program, which aimed to create series of various types of armored vehicles. Those machines had to be maximally simple to manufacture and highly standardized. The beginning of the design of this tank dates back to 1943, but already in 1944, by order of Adolf Hitler, the design was stopped. "Henschel", which worked on it, continued to work on it on a limited basis until the end of the war. Only the body was produced, on which, according to the plans, a modified turret of the "Maus" tank with a 12.8 KwK cannon was to be installed. Further modification was planned, with the installation of more powerful weapons. In June 1945, the hull was taken over by the British Army, who took it to Britain for structural evaluation. It was later scrapped.
A large, colorful, moderately detailed model for intermediate to advanced modelers. Perfectly reproduced exterior detailing, camouflage (although neither was actually realized), exterior details, chassis. Tracks are only in strips. Colors reserve are in stock. The graphic instruction is quite good and detailed, the textual one is small and only complements the graphic one.
