"PT-76" is a Soviet light floating tank, constructed in the post-war period at the Chelyabinsk Tractor Factory Designers Bureau (KB) in 1949-1950. The construction of an amphibious combat vehicle was very important for the USSR because of the possibility of war with the West: in the event of hostilities, the Red Army would have had to cross a number of rivers and swamps in Europe, which would have created a number of difficulties. "Object 740 ( «Объект 740»), which showed excellent results during tests in the 1950s, was adopted by the armaments under the designation PT-76. The combat vehicle has been modernized several times: the version "PT-76B" was produced in 1959-1967, which differed in the installation of a modernized 76 mm caliber cannon D-56TC with a two-plane stabilizer. A total of 3,039 PT-76 tank units of all modifications were produced between 1951 and 1967, of which 1,200 were PT-76B. These machines were in the arsenal of the armies of many countries around the world and are still present today. Tanks "PT-76" have been used in many modern armed conflicts: Vietnam, Six-Day, Chechnya, Yugoslavia and Iraq wars.

A medium, well-designed and richly detailed Russian light floating tank from the Chechnya War, a complex model in a mottled camouflage appearance. The model has a well-detailed combat hull and turret compartment, mechanic-driver workplace, chassis and exterior detailing. Engine compartment detailing is not available. Tracks are designed in two versions - strip tracks and separate tracks. Where necessary, the details are double-sided printing, there are quite noticeable traces of exploitation, quite solid color reserve. The model is intended for intermediate and advanced modelers only. Unless only the version without internal equipment and with simplified detailing is "biting" for less experienced modelers, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
