T-72 - a tank of Soviet design, adopted as a weapon in the Soviet Army in the 20th century, in the early seventies. Produced at the Ural Wagon Plant (UWP) in the city of Nizhny Tagil. In 1978 the Polish Wojsako Polskie this tanks began to be supplied, which until recently formed the basis of the armament of Polish armored units. According to the data of the Ministry of National Defense on October 1, 2005, 597 such tanks (WP) were still in use. The USSR sold production licenses to several countries: Czechoslovakia, India, Yugoslavia, Poland. In Poland these tanks are produced at the Gliwice "BUMAR" factory, producing T-72M, T-72M1 and T-72M1D versions. In addition, the Poles also produced their very deep modernization of this tank PT-91 "Twardy", of which 233 units were used by Wojsko Polskie. All the way up to the 20th century at the end of the nineties, about 20 thousand units were produced in several countries of the world. These tanks are used in the armed forces of a dozen countries. T-72B3 - a modernized version of the T-72 with a "Sosna" sight and reinforced armor. Today, most of the Polish T-72s and "Twardy"'s have been transferred to the fighting Ukraine, replacing them with German "Leopard"'s and South Korean K2's.
A well-designed and richly detailed model with no internal detalization for intermediate and advanced modelers. The rather complex shape of the body, the turret and the abundant external detailing are really "unbitten" by advanced beginners and low-experience modelers.
