K2 - South Korea's main tank, which, together with its predecessor K1, complements each other and is not intended to replace the previous one in the armed forces. Construction work on the new tank began in 1993, although K1 was a modern tank. The tank is built with a classic composition - the driver's seat is in the front, the combat compartment is in the middle part, the engine compartment is in the back. The driver can use three periscopes, supplemented with therm-visors. In the combat compartment the artilleryman is on the left, and the tank commander is on the right. The machine is equipped with the latest electronic tracking, navigation, and warning equipment, which transmits real-time data on its and the enemy's position on the battlefield and its approaches, as well, as excellent fire control equipment. The cannon can fire two types of projectiles: anti-tank and cumulative. The armor perfectly protects the units and crew of the combat vehicle, consists of composite armor and dynamic armor, which can withstand the blows of almost all modern anti-tank weapons. In July 27, 2022 Wojsko Polskie and the PZG and "Hyundai Rotem" concernes have signed a contract for 180 K2 and 820 K2PL, specially designed for Poland, submission for Wojsko Polskie. According to this contract, 180 K2s are to be manufactured in South Korea, while 820 K2PLs may be partially manufactured in Poland from 2026. Polish ground forces units are to receive up to 1,000 tanks under this contract. The first tanks have already reached Poland and the 16th Mechanized Division has begun to be armed with them.

A large, well designed and highly detailed tank model, painted in a spotted 3 color camouflage. The model is intended for intermediate and experienced modelers, the chassis is perfectly detailed, the tracks from separate tracks, the hull, the turret, and the armament are well detailed. There is a considerable stock of colors. The model reproduces the external appearance of one of the K2 tanks, that began to arm the 16th Mechanized Division.
