Probably, the largest tank, ever built by humans, appeared in tsarist Russia. It was designed by Russian engineer Nikolai Lebedenka, who worked for one of the private companies, that produced the products for the Department of War. The tank is named after several names, the most popular being Tank “Tsar", also known as “Bat” and Lebedenko Tank. A prototype of the tank was tested in 1917, but due to its overweight of more than 60 tons, it got stuck in the ground, and it was not possible to go out or pull out such a giant at the time. The prototype thus remained in the landfill until 1923, when it was dismantled.
A huge tank model of medium complexity, that requires attention and diligence, which can be done even by an advanced novice modeler, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. A real highlight of the collection of tank models.
