The “Panther” "went hunting" in 1943 in response to the Soviet T-34. The “Panther” was armed with a better cannon and had thicker armor. Their combat baptism took place at the Battle of Kursk. However, these "beasts" had serious shortcomings and about 150 of the 200 used machines remained on the battlefield. Most of them were left due to breakdowns: engines and transmission did not keep up. By the end of the war, about 6,000 “Panthers” had been produced, while the T-34 and “Sherman's” main tanks off UdSSR and United States had produced more than 100,000.
The model is designed for novice modelers and is greatly simplified. But beginners need them - they assemble quickly, and accurately, and have a great exhibit.
