„T-62“ – the USSR medium tank

T-62 (object 166) - Soviet medium tank. Created on the basis of the T-55 tank. Produced in the USSR from 1961 to 1975. The world's first mass-produced tank with a 115 mm smooth-bore gun and a medium tank weight and high level of armor. T-62 tanks of various modifications are in service in Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Iran, Yemen, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Cuba, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Ethiopia, in some places even today.
