The Battle of Falaise was one of the decisive clashes during World War II in Normandy. It took place on June 12-21, 1944. During the event, the Allied army surrounded the retreating from Normandy German forces - several divisions (about 100,000 troops and 350 pieces of armored vehicles). An important role was played in this action by the 1st Armored Division of the Polish General Stanislav Machk, which joined the 1st Canadian Army and blocked the German retreat routes.

The publication contains parts for the models of the four tanks, involved in the Falaise battle. The two allied medium tanks are the American M4A4 “Sherman” and the British “Cromwell” Mk. IV - painted with camouflage of the 1 Armored Polish Division. These were the two main tank models of the British army, which formed the basis of the armament of the Polish division. Their enemies are represented by two German heavy tanks: Pz. Kpfw. V “Panther” and Pz. Kpfw. VI “Tiger”, making up the main striking power of the Wehrmacht at the time. The models are uncomplicated but well designed and well detailed to this level, but perfect for beginners and inexperienced modelers. And you won’t need the help or supervision of any more experienced colleagues.
