„Vickers“ Mk. E Type A – the British/ Polish light tank

Light tank "Vickers - Armstrong" 6-Ton (Mk.E) was built in 1928 by the British company "Vickers - Armstrongs Ltd" as its own initiative. Two different prototypes were produced: two towers (Type A) and one tower (Type B). The tank of the second version became the first in the world, in which the armament (machine gun and cannon) was paired with each other. Tests of the "Vickers" Mk.E in the British Army did not lead to orders, but they were allowed to be exported. This release and the corresponding advertising company gave results and a number of orders came from foreign countries. One of the first was the USSR, which even acquired a license for their production, where they were produced and improved as a T-26 tank. Poland also bought 50 tanks, but only 38 were delivered. In addition, Poland also acquired a license for the production of these tanks, but only produced the improved version "7TP".

A model of moderate difficulty for intermediate and advanced modelers. A very complex chassis, the production of which will "eat" about ¾ of the total time, required to make this model.
