In April 1941 the US Department of Ordnance adopted a new light tank, designated the M3, into the US Army's arsenal. It was frequently modernized during the Second World War, the versions M3, M3A1, M3A3, M5, M5A1 and a number of machines were built on the chassis of this tank (for example, the self-propelled howitzer M8). A total of 22 743 tanks of this brand of all versions were produced between 1941 and 1944.
A complex, medium-sized, well-detailed and well-designed model without engine, combat compartment detailing, with excellent exterior equipment, armament and chassis detailing. The model is only for intermediate and experienced modelers, but under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model can be glued by a modeler with little experience. The model recreates the machine used by the soldiers of the US 1st Armored Division on the North African front in December 1942 during the battles in Tunisia.
