The reconnaissance tank or tankette TK-3 was designed as a result of the development of the models TK-1 and TK-2, which were copies of one of the most popular British tankettes of the interwar period, the Vickers Carden Loyd Mk.VI. The TK-3 prototype was built in May 1931 and over 300 copies were delivered to the Polish Army during the two-year production period. Compared to its predecessors, the TK-3 was more comfortable, had better driving conditions, higher speed in rough terrain, longer range and thicker armor. A distinguishing feature was that these machines had a covered roof, which further protected the crew. Despite the fact, that more advanced TKS tankettes were adopted later, 156 units of TK-3 received the attack of Poland in September 1939.
A not very complex model, but with a lot of small details, suitable even for advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, painted in the so-called "Japanese" camouflage, used in the armored units of the Polish Army in the mid-thirties of the 20th century. It is possible to diversify the model with tactical signs, used during various maneuvers, several sets of which are available in the publication.
