In the early 1930s, the Red Army began constructing new medium tanks to replace the obsolete T-24. In 1932, the “Bolshevik” plant in Leningrad designed and manufactured a prototype of the tank, which was later marked T-28. It was a typical tank of the time with a 45mm caliber cannon and machine gun in the main tower and two more machine guns in the two front towers. The more powerful 76.2 mm cannon KT 28 was installed in the standard tanks. All versions of the T-28 tank produced over 500 units. Although they did a good job in the USSR - Finland war, these machines were difficult to operate in the mountainous areas of the front and they often got stuck there. As a result, the Finns took over 7 units, that were in use there until the mid-fifties. The model depicts a tank, used by the Armored Division on the Northwest Front from 1938 to 1939 with another cannon, the L-10, and an additional machine gun at the rear of the main tower, but without additional armor.

Sophisticated model, that reproduces the exterior of the tank well, without internal equipment and suitable only for moderately experienced or experienced modelers.
