"Staliniec" S-60 - Soviet interwar and World War II tracked tractor. Its first prototypes were built in 1933. Serially produced in 1933-1937 at the Chelyabinsk tractor factory. The design of the “Stalinec” S-60 uses a number of components and technical solutions from the USA-made the Caterpillar “Sixty” tractor. Therefore, the S-60 can be read as a modernized version of the American one, adapted to the needs of the USSR economy and the Red Army, with the aim of mechanizing both agriculture and the army as much as possible. In practice, most of these tractors ended up in the army, where they were used as heavy artillery tractors, agriculture, as was usually the case in the USSR at that time, remained in the place of the stepson. It should be noted, that they perfectly coped with the tasks, set for them by the Red Army due to the very powerful engine, that was installed in these machines and the simple, solid, almost indestructible construction. Many "Stalinec’s" were taken over by the German army in the first months of the Great Patriotic War and were used in Wermacht units for quite some time.

A highly accurately designed and richly detailed model for intermediate to advanced modelers. All the components and parts of the tractor have been restored in detail. Tracks are given only from separate tracks and there is an opportunity to make the entire chassis "running". The model reproduces the tractor, used by the Red Army during World War II. Colors reserves are in stock.
