Repair crane JT 34 - Czechoslovak arms industry design, developed on the medium tank T-34/85 chassis. The prototype of this machine was created in 1962 and a year later serial production was started at the J. Stalin Steel Products Factory in Martina. Production continued until 1966. The vast majority of devices were delivered to the Czechoslovak army, the rest were delivered to Morocco and India. A total of about 80 JT 34s were produced. Instead of the main tower with a cannon, the machine was equipped with a special turret with an extendable crane boom, to which a lifting hook was tied through a special block system. The tower is welded from 12 mm thick armor plates and is equipped with crane control equipment. The carrying capacity was 12.5 tons, the crew consisted of a mechanic - a driver and a commander - crane operator. These cranes are mostly used for the repair of heavy equipment - tower removal - erection, cannon disassembly - installation works both in peace and combat conditions.
A model of medium complexity, well detailed, requiring care and attention for intermediate and advanced modelers. Model with full combat and engine compartment detailing, perfectly restored chassis, exterior details.
