"ZIL-157K" - the Soviet off-road truck

ZIL-157 is the result of deep modernization of ZIL-151. Its serial production started in 1958. The main innovation in the car design was the introduction of a centralized tire pressure regulation system. The car is equipped with a new, more powerful 104 h. p. power engine. In 1961 the truck was modernized, the engine gained even more power - 109 h. p., the transmission was reworked. The modernized version began to be designated "ZIL-157K". Cars were produced serially until 1982. Produced in standard military variants: flatbed car, tractor unit and chassis. Some of the machines are equipped with a winch, shielded electrical equipment, and export modifications for various climatic conditions are produced. The trucks are produced with two types of cargo platforms - the "army" type with a folding tailgate and folding side benches, hoops and an awning, and the "transport" type.

Finely detailed and intricately shaped truck model with perfectly restored engine compartment, opening hood, highly detailed transmission and chassis, cab interior. It is possible to make one of four paint versions: two of the Polish People's Army, the Soviet Army of the USSR and the Army of the Czechoslovak SR. Model for intermediate and advanced modelers only.
