Wz. 19 – the Polish army supply carriage

Few of us know, that most of the armies, that participated in World War II, with the exception of the Allied armies from 1943 onwards, relied heavily on horses for their transport systems. They were used for towing artillery guns, in supplies, communications, de-mining and pioneer units, sanitary service. In September 1939 the Polish army also used a huge number of various horse-drawn carriages. Most of them were supply (convoy) carriages, used in supply units. But there were also communication carriages (telephone and radio communication), pioneer equipment transport carriages, artillery ammunition carriages, as well as quartermaster service carriages.

A simple, well-detailed and designed model for modelers of all experience. Only advanced beginners and modelers with little experience are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The model, without the carriage, includes pieces of two model horses, a carrier, a soldier, a patch of land (base), a road sign, a bucket and an ammunition box. So, a small diorama can be made.
