The Opel “Blitz” is one of “Opel's” large range of trucks, available in various versions and with different capacities: 600, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000 kg. He began his military career in 1935 and later served in Wermacht. Used in masse on all World War II fronts, it was nicknamed the "workhorse." Some versions of the “Blitz” were also used by the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine. “Blitz's” career continued after the war. Manufactured until 1950 and over 70,000 of these trucks were released in total.
Quite a complicated, well-designed, and richly detailed model, that can be assembled in one of two versions: a sanitary van or a truck for transporting troops and cargo. Some details are printed on both sides. Model for intermediate and experienced modelers.
