Bergepanzer "Tiger" was also called "Bergetiger" - a German World War II technical support device, designed for the heavy tank Pz. Kpfw. VI "Tiger" Aust. E chassis. These units are the same "Tiger" tanks with a dismantled cannon and the remaining armament of two MG-34 machine guns. The crane was built by "J.S. Fries und Sohn" in Frankfurt am Main and was installed in a recycled tower. The crane boom was installed in the tower in a constant position and the load was moved by hand winch.
Well designed and quite richly detailed, model of the heavy German WW2 technical support vehicle Bergepanzer "Tiger" is quite complex, albeit without internal equipment. The main complexity - as in all tracked machinery - is the chassis and tracks. And if it is a German armored vehicle of World War II, then that complexity increases 2-3 times more. So - the model is not for beginners. The author of the project is Stanislaw Sliwinski, a well-known designer for paper modellers, so quality and coincidence are guaranteed. The model reproduces the machine, used in North Africa as part of the "African Corps". There is a lot of color stock, even with camouflage spots, the graphic instruction covers the manufacturing process of each part and its "dislocation location" on the device model, the textual information is also quite good and provides quite a lot of good tips and solutions.
