General Motors GM C15TA is an armored truck, designed and manufactured in Canada during World War II. It is mostly used as an armored personnel carrier. The car is designed, based on the positive experience, gained using the US-made M3 "Scout Car" armored trucks. The GM C15TA is based on the standard “Chevrolet” C15 off-road truck. The prototype was built in 1943, serial production started in the same year and ended in 1944. A total of 3,961 units of these trucks were produced. Cars used for transporting infantry, ammunition and supplies. The G15TA had no fixed armament, but provision was made for mounting a “Boys” anti-tank rifle or a “Bren” hand machine gun, or a mortar. It was mostly used by Canadian and British units; small quantities were also used by Polish and Czechoslovak units, that fought in the British Army.

A model of medium complexity, well detailed, requiring care and attention for intermediate and advanced modelers. Model with full combat and engine compartment detailing, perfectly restored chassis, exterior details. The model can be made in one of three camouflages: 15th Poznań Ulon Regiment medical truck from Italy 1944, Czechoslovak Separate Armored Brigade - 1945 Belgium and 5th Canadian Armored Division also from 1945 Belgium. By the way, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, a simplified model of this truck without an engine, cab interior detailing, with opaque glasses and a simplified chassis, can be made even by a modeler with little experience. Only here, hurrying will not help, and will even hinder.
