Although the pfeilschleuder or Bricoli is less well known, than the catapult, the treble clefs, when it comes to ancient fighting machines, they were the most common and longest-used projectiles. The device, represented by the model, belongs to a later period, is more complex and larger, than its predecessors. This type of machine threw several kilograms of spears at a distance of 400 - 600 meters. Although it did not show much accuracy, it had a significant demoralizing effect on those, who attacked the military.
An uncomplicated model, that is perfect for all modelers, but requires meticulousness, patience and diligence. It can be made relatively "working".
