Sd.Kfz 250 - the German light semi-tracked armored personnel carrier of the Second World War. Its first prototypes were created in 1939, serially produced in 1940-1944, about 6700 units were produced. The Sd.Kfz 250 was powered by a "Maybach" HL 42 TRKM six-cylinder engine with a power of 100 h. h. The Sd.Kfz 250 is designed as a light reconnaissance and multipurpose armored car for German armored divisions and tank grenadier units. During serial production, two versions of the Sd.Kfz 250 hull were created: the first (called "alt") had split side hull panels and a broken armor plate at the front of the hull. In 1943, the "neu" version was introduced, which was simplified: the sides of the body were flat, as was the armor plate at the front of the car. During World War II several variants and versions of the Sd.Kfz 250 were developed. The first chronological version was the Sd.Kfz 250/1, which was the basic version and could function as a light infantry transporter or reconnaissance vehicle. Later came the Sd.Kfz 250/3 version, which was a command vehicle with a long-range loop antenna and a long-range radio receiver. Later, a version armed with an 80 mm mortar (Sd.Kfz 250/7), a 28 mm anti-tank gun (Sd.Kfz 250/11) or a reconnaissance vehicle with a 20 mm cannon in a rotating turret (Sd. Kfz 250/9). All versions of the Sd.Kfz 250 were mainly used in armored divisions and armored grenadier units on practically all fronts of the Second World War.

A rather complex model of a small armored vehicle. It is well designed and richly detailed: engine, combat compartment detailing, chassis, suspension, transmission, exterior detailing, equipment. The model is only for medium-experienced and experienced modelers, because nothing can be simplified (unless You just don't make an engine) - the combat and the driver's compartment are open. The camouflage is mottled, so it can be assumed, that the prototype of model fought either in Western Europe or on the Eastern Front. There is no stock of colors, tracks only from separate tracks. The instructions are quite large and detailed.
