The Volkswagen Typ 82 "Kübelwagen" is a light military off-road vehicle, produced in Germany at the Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg from 1940 to 1945. It was an open, four-seat car with an air-cooled engine, raised suspension, angular body and folding canvas roof, based on the Typ 60 KdF-Wagen (VW "Beetle"). The name "Kübelwagen" comes from the name Kübelsitzwagen (German bucket-seat-car). Some military off-road cars are made without doors to prevent the driver and passengers from falling out, the seats are made with raised edges, that is bucket-shaped, which is why all military off-road cars got the name "Kübelwagen", although the Typ 82 did not have such seats.
Well designed and detailed model with full interior and engine bay equipment. But, if the engine equipment is not made, then this model, under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, will perfectly stick to a beginner and a modeler with little experience.
