"Kubuś" - Polish light armored car (armored transporter) of the Second World War, which served during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 year. Only one copy was produced. The car's armament consisted of one 7.62 mm DP or wz. K machine gun. It was decided to build "Kubuś" at the beginning of the fighting in Warsaw, probably on August 8, 1944. The idea came from (supposedly) Captain Cyprian Odorkiewicz, nicknamed "Krybar". The design of the car was based on the chassis of the 3-ton “Chevrolet” model 157 truck. These cars were built under license in Warsaw before the start of World War II. With the shortage of materials and the fighting going on, the armored car was built in 13 days! The car was ready in 1944 on August 23, and received a baptism of fire during the battles in the building of the University of Warsaw. September 6 the armored car was damaged and no longer participated in the battles. "Kubuś" was probably the only armored car, produced independently by underground fighters in occupied Europe. The armored car has survived to this day and can be seen today in the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw. A copy of it is exhibited in the Warsaw Uprising Museum.

A complex, well-detailed model that requires care and attention only for modelers of any experience. Model without interior equipment, engine compartment restored only visible from below, with all exterior and chassis details perfectly restored. Although, the publication says, that due to the complex hull forms, the model of this armored car is suitable only for intermediate and experienced modelers, but, when working under the supervision of a more experienced modeler, the "magazine" version will stick perfectly even for less experienced modelers. You just need to work slowly, patiently and carefully.
