The branch of the wagon factory from the German company “Van der Zypen und Charlier”, established in Riga in 1869, was transformed in 1874 into the joint-stock company “Russko - Baltijskij vagonnyj zavod” - the Russian-Baltic wagon factory. Since 1908, “Russo – Balt” cars of various modifications of original construction have also been manufactured there. In the summer of 1909, the first luxury car in the S-Series was produced, and they were produced until 1918. 9 cars were produced, but the cars of one series were not the same, but the equipment, level of comfort and finish differed.
Not the most complicated, well-detailed vintage car model, that even inexperienced modelers can build, but there’s someone to advise if you have any questions.
