In 1950 Poland and the USSR signed an agreement on the licensed production of GAZ M-20 "Pobeda" cars in Poland. The first car, assembled from parts, made in the USSR, left the factory line on November 6, 1951, and on September 19, 1952, the first "Warszawa" was produced with the new Polish-made S-20 engine. Until 1954 production took place only from parts, made in the USSR, and only then was the first "Warszawa", produced in Poland. In 1955 the production limit of 4,000 cars per year was exceeded. In 1957 the car was modernized: a new design of the radiator, a new name inscription, a new decoration of the interior and about 200 other changes. Modernized again in 1962, with a new engine and a weight reduction of 200 kg.

Quite complex, well detailed and designed model with full engine compartment detailing, interior, recreating a 1954 production car - a taxi, that worked for the Warsaw Taxi Company. The model without engine and interior is "biting" for modelers with little experience, but we recommend gluing it under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and it should not be one of the first more complex models You build.
