VAZ - 2108 "Sputnik" (informally called "eight") is a light front-wheel drive small class car of the II group with a hatchback body, produced in the USSR and Russia. Designed and serially produced at the Volga Automobile Plant in 1984-2003. It was the base model of the Lada "Sputnik" family. In 2004, VAZ - 2113 was replaced on the conveyor.
The model is of medium complexity, but there are a number of small details, that make it a bit more complex. However, a version without engine compartment equipment, but with interior detailing, can also be made by novice modelers under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Most of the details, which must be originally painted on both sides, are printed with double-sided printing.
