"Leyton House" CG901 - Formula 1 racing car, built by the "Leyton House Racing" team, led by Adrian Newey in 1990 for the season. The aerodynamics of the CG901 chassis turned out to be very successful. The car performed quite well in the wind tunnel, but on the track it proved difficult to control. On a flat track, everything went well, but as soon, as the car's ground clearance changed, the ground effect decreased dramatically, and 1-2 mm bumps were enough to unbalance the whole system. A modified version of the chassis was prepared for the French Grand Prix, called the CG901B. In the race Ivan Capelli unexpectedly finished in second place, which can be explained by the smooth surface of the track, where the car showed its strengths. Mauricio Gugelmin managed to score a point for sixth place in Belgium. However, in many cases, the racers were put in charge of the machinery in the race.

The model is intended for modelers of all levels, only advanced beginners and modelers with little experience are advised to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. A single model can be produced, although different details are provided for both drivers' cars. Alternatively, a model can be made with the fairing and wheels, removed and placed in a diorama with pit equipment.
