Lotus „2-Eleven“ - the light passenger car

This car looks like a powerful sports car with a maximally open body and looks reminiscent Formula 1 racing cars of the 20th century of the sixties. The Lotus "2-Eleven" is built on an aluminum chassis. The philosophy of Lotus: "more speed with less weight" is almost perfectly matched in this car. The weight of the sports car does not exceed 745 kg, it is equipped with a forced 1.8 l VVTL - i Toyota four-cylinder engine, that develops 255 h. p. power at 8000 rpm. With this power-to-weight ratio, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. The gearbox is made of aluminum and has 6 speeds. Light black wheels are "wrapped" in Yokohama tires, specially designed for this car. Brakes 288 millimeters with Brembo ventilated discs. The car overcomes the unevenness of the road very gently thanks to the independent suspension, which uses forks of unequal length and double-acting hydraulic shock absorbers.
 
An uncomplicated, well designed and detailed model, suitable for almost any modeler, but for a beginner modeler we recommend sticking it under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and it should not be one of the first more complex models You build.
