The Formula 1 world is in a state of shock!!! No one expected, that the cars of one of the teams would be so ahead of all the others. Already during the winter tests, the new MP4/13 car of the McLaren team showed impressive results. The distance from competitors is calculated in seconds. Rumors began to spread, that the team was using banned systems, cunning team tactics to fool their opponents. But the results of the first "Grand Prix" of the 1998 season showed the incredible technical superiority of the team. In Melbourne, Finland's Mika Hakinen and Scotland's David Coulthard took first and second places. They overtook all the rivals in a lap and more... Brazilian GP – again a double, only this time the third remaining Schumacher was a little more, than a minute behind. In Argentina - 2nd and 6th places, first - "Schumi". San Marino 1 Coulthard, Hakkinen didn't finish the race due to a breakdown. Monte Carlo - Hakkinen - 1. Canadian Grand Prix - both McLaren cars did not finish the race due to technical problems. Problems and victories alternated with each other throughout the season, but at the end, in a very tense battle, Mika Hakinen became the World Champion after scoring 100 points. , second was M. Schumacher, third with 56 points - D. Coulthard. The McLaren team won the "Constructors' Cup" with 156 points.

A moderately complex, well-designed and well-detailed model for modelers of all experience levels. Only advanced beginners and modelers with little experience are recommended made this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and it should not be one of the first more complex models in Your modeling career. It is possible to make a model of one of several variants of the car: Mika Hakinen's Monaco Grand Prix, David Coulthard's Monaco GP, "Carbonhart Edition" car models of both pilots and the pre-season version of the car.
