"Žuk" is a brand of Polish middle trucks. In 1956 the "Lublin Truck Factory” (“Fabryka Samochodów Ciężarowych”) started designing the "Žuk" - light delivery car. In 1959 the production of the all-metal "Žuk" A03 pickup truck with a wheelbase of 2700 mm and a carrying capacity of 900 kg was started. The car has an M20 engine and transmission from the “Warszawa” passenger car (GAZ-M-20 "Pobieda"). In the course of production, vans "A05" and "A06", flatbed trucks "A09" and "AH", weighing 950 kg, were built. In 1973 the external design of the front part of the cars was changed. In 1975 modification "B" appeared with 70 h. p. power engine "S21". Cars were popular in Poland, the USSR and other socialist countries. The production was stopped in 1993 due to the start of production of new brand trucks "Lublin". An attempt was made to extend the production of “Žuk” minibuses in the village of Kolodez Stanowa in the Oriol region, but due to economic problems, production was stopped after about 100 cars were produced. According to other data, "Žuk" was produced until 1998. A total of 587,000 units were produced.
